Record a tab, a screen, or an area
Set a recording up in a tab of its own, with a stage framed at the exact aspect that will be encoded. What falls outside a rectangle you drag is never written to the file, so the recording is only as big as the part you meant.

Cut it on a real timeline
Filmstrip thumbnails sampled from your own footage, zoom from 1× to 8×, and as many video lanes as the edit needs. Split at the playhead and close the gap, and the zooms, text and marks ride through the cut instead of being orphaned by it.

Zooms made from your own clicks
Every click is recorded alongside the video, so the zooms are already on the timeline when the project opens — pointed at the thing you actually clicked. Each one can be retimed, moved, resized and eased, or the whole set regenerated.

A cursor worth following
Chrome films its own pointer into a tab capture and will not give it back, so FramioCam draws a translucent ring around it instead, and a ripple at every click. Colour, size and duration are all changeable long after the recording is over.

24 transitions, previewed before you pick
A gallery that plays every transition rather than naming it — dissolves, wipes, slides, and the ones worth the trip, like page curl and cross zoom. Apply it in, out or both, then drag the block on the timeline to retime it.

Arrows, boxes, blur and text — timed
The annotation vocabulary from the screenshot side, given a stretch of time on the timeline: arrow, box, ellipse, blur, highlight, spotlight, step badge and freehand pen. Drag the ends to say how long each one stays.

A backdrop and a window frame
Twenty wallpapers or your own image, six window frames, and four Looks that set backdrop, frame, padding and shadow in one click. Every thumbnail is drawn over a still of your recording, so you are choosing against your own footage.

The shape it has to ship in
Aspect ratios named for where they are going — 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 — with fit or fill, padding, corner radius and nine card edges. Reshaping is a click, not a re-record.

Export it where it is going
MP4, WebM, animated GIF, or the frame under the playhead as a PNG, from 480p to 4K. A format your device cannot encode is disabled with the reason before the export starts, rather than half way through it.
