FramioCam's lifetime deal on AppSumo

FramioCam is now available with a lifetime deal on AppSumo. If you have been weighing a capture tool and would rather pay once than subscribe, the deal is live today.

The short version of what FramioCam does: capture screenshots, record your screen, and edit videos, all locally in your browser. Capture, editing and export run on your machine. Sharing is a file you send — or an optional upload to your own Google Drive. Nothing is uploaded to us.

What the deal is

AppSumo sells the deal and runs the checkout. The licence tiers, the prices and the purchase terms are on the deal page, and a purchase there is covered by AppSumo’s own terms, including refunds. Those details are deliberately not restated here: a price copied into a blog post is a second price that can quietly go stale, and the deal page is the one that is current.

Two things around the deal do not change.

The product is the same extension. A licence bought through the deal unlocks the same FramioCam that installs from the Chrome Web Store, with the same features, the same local processing and the same update path. The native Mac app is a separate product and is not part of this deal.

Buying direct is unchanged. Pro and Teams remain one-time purchases through our own checkout, at the prices that page lists. Choose whichever route suits you; the licence does the same job.

What the tool does

The deal covers the full toolkit, not a cut-down build. In one line each:

• Capture any way the page allows. The visible area, the full scrollable page, a region you draw, or a queue of pages in one go. The capture guide walks through each mode.
• Make the screenshot worth sharing. Backdrops, gradients, device frames and annotations — arrows, numbered steps, blur, text — in the studio.
• Record tabs, windows or your whole screen, with microphone and system audio, and save the take locally. Setup and source choices are in the recording guide.
• Edit on a real timeline. A multi-lane video editor with trims, transitions and click-driven auto-zoom, exporting MP4, WebM, GIF or a still frame.

Where your work stays

The promise the deal is built on is the one the product already keeps: your screenshots and recordings stay on your device. Editing happens in the browser, exports are written locally, and an optional Google Drive connection uploads only what you choose to send, to storage that belongs to you. Nothing changes. Pro and Teams licences were one-time purchases when you bought them and they still are; every allowance they came with stays. A lifetime deal for new buyers does not reprice something you already own — and thank you for being early.

How long is the deal available? AppSumo sets the window and shows it on the deal page. When it closes, FramioCam’s own pricing continues exactly as it is: one-time licences through our own checkout.

Is this the same extension as the Chrome Web Store listing? Yes. The deal licences the same Chrome extension, installed from the same listing. The native Mac app is a separate product, is not released yet, and is not part of the deal.

I already paid for Pro or Teams. Does anything change? No. Existing licences keep every allowance they came with. Nothing about the deal is charged to them, and nothing you bought is folded into it.
