What you are buying, and what we owe you.

Plain terms for a small product. Using FramioCam means agreeing to these; if you do not, the extension is free to uninstall and the account is free to close.

The licence

• Buying a plan gives you a licence to use FramioCam, for as long as it exists, on the number of browsers that plan covers.
• Solo, Team and Enterprise are one-time purchases. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.
• A seat is a browser. You can release one from your account page and connect a different browser in its place, as often as you like — a new laptop is not a new purchase.
• The licence is yours, not transferable to another person or resold.
• The free plan is a real plan rather than a trial. It does not expire.

What we can do about a key

We can revoke a licence key if it is shared publicly, used to work around the seat limits, or bought fraudulently. We will tell you why. Short of that, the key keeps working.

Payment and refunds

• Paddle is the merchant of record. They take the payment, handle tax, and issue your receipt and invoice.
• Refunds are handled through Paddle, and we will approve one within 30 days of purchase if the product is not what you expected. Write to us or to them.
• Prices can change. What you already bought does not.

Your work is yours

Everything you capture, edit and export belongs to you. We claim nothing over it, and could not: none of it is ever sent to us. What you do with a recording of somebody else's screen, page or voice is your responsibility — recording people has rules where you live, and they apply here.

What we do not promise

• The software is provided as it is. Browsers change, and a capture mode that works today can be broken by a release we did not ship.
• We do not hold your files, so we cannot recover them. Recordings live in your browser's storage: clearing site data, removing the extension or resetting a profile deletes them, and there is no copy anywhere else.
• Where the law allows us to limit it, our liability is capped at what you paid us.

Closing an account

Write to us and we will close it and delete what it holds. A one-time licence that has been paid for is not refunded by closing the account, unless it is within the 30 days above.

Changes

If these change, the date at the top changes with them, and anything you have already bought is governed by the terms in force when you bought it.
