Most screen tools upload what you record so they can give you a link back. This one has nowhere to upload to — the studio, the editor and the export all run in the tab you already have open.
STAYS ON YOUR MACHINE

- In the browser’s own storage, on your machine.
- Recordings
- Written to disk locally while you record. No upload step.
- Edits and projects
- The timeline, the trims, the annotations — all local.
- Exports
- Rendered by your machine and saved by your machine.
CROSSES THE NETWORK
- A licence check
- Your key, the id of the browser holding the seat, and the extension version. Nothing else is in the request.
- Payment
- Handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Card details never reach us.
That is the whole list. The extension asks for<all_urls>because it has to read the page it is capturing — and reading a page to draw it is not the same as sending it anywhere.
